Can't protect some cells in Excel 2003
I locked all cells in an Excel spreadsheet then protected the sheet. Some of
the sheet is set up as a form for users to fill in details and these cells still allow editing which is fine. The problem is that one section of formulas also allows editing. Does anyone know what else could be allowing them to be edited? |
Can't protect some cells in Excel 2003
Solved it. Someone had added the cells using the Allow users to edit ranges
option. I just had to remove all references to the cells in question. "JMC" wrote: I locked all cells in an Excel spreadsheet then protected the sheet.
