Grouping data
 

I'm using excel 2003
What i need to do is to group data. For example i have table
1|3
2|5
1|2
3|6
2|2

What i need to get is:
1|5 (sum 1,3 row column B (3+2))
2|7 (sum 2,5 row column B (5+2))
3|6

Any ideas?

Hi MaR,

the best way is to sort by first column and then use subtotals (menu Data,
Subtotals)...

(I'm not sure of names of menus, options and commands, because
translating from the Italian version of Excel...)
