Problem with VLOOKUP and pivot table
Hello - Im having a problem. Im trying to use VLOOKUP to read a cell from a pivot table then return a value from another non pivot table on another sheet. Only trouble is it always returns NA. Ive checked the VLOOKUP formular and it works so it must be a problem reading the pivot field. Can anyone help? Thanks -- LB79 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ LB79's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=12156 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=565073 |
Problem with VLOOKUP and pivot table
I just made a test spreadsheet with pivot table and lookup table, and I can use cells from the pivot table to bring back a value from a lookup table, so you must have an error in your formula??? Send us your actual formula. -- robert111 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ robert111's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31996 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=565073 |
Problem with VLOOKUP and pivot table
The formula im using is =VLOOKUP(C5,$A$2:$B$50,2) If I type actual data into C5 then it works, but if its pivot data it just returns NA. -- LB79 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ LB79's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=12156 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=565073 |
