removing part of text string to another cell
hey. i have an enormous list of addresses with the whole address in one cell for each address. i need to extract the postcode (zip) to another cell so that i can sort the data by postcode. each line of the address is separated by a space. can anyone help me? Please! It's probably simple to do with Regular Expressions or possibly with built-in functions. But samples of your addresses (with the possible variations) is required. --ron |
