How do I get the now() time to update while I have the file open? Can this be
done or does the file stay static until I refresh it?
Any thoughts?

Thanks........so you manually have to update the file - there's no way to
tell it to do it?

It will update whenever the worksheet recalculates: when you type into a
cell, edit a cell, etc.
