Way to protect an embedded Object from Edit/deletion but allow RO Access?
 

Using 2003

Using w/s protection coupled with the respective Objects having the
Properties|Protection| Protection checked, I have this challenge:

When protecting the sheet, if I check Edit Object then the user can
edit/delete the object.

If I uncheck Edit Object, the user cannot even open the object at all.

I would like the user to have Read Only access to object but deny
Edit/Delete capabilities.

Any thoughts appreciated!
