Hello,
How do you enlarge the pie slices without increasing the blank space at the
center.

Exploding pie chart
 

Click on the Chart area and make sure your Chart Toolbar is showing. At the
left end of the Toolbar there is a drop-down box which displays all the
different elements of the chart. You need to select the Plot Area. You
should see a grey square around the pie. Use the handles on the corner to
adjust the size of the overall pie. When you click on a pie slice you are
moving all the slices or just one in and out.
The Plot Area adjusts the whole pie. Hope this helps. Adrian.
