i'm trying to update an evacuation plan. I need to create a "doorway" in an
Excel flowchart shape - how can i erase part of the shape line? thanks

Hi,
Not sure why you want to use Excel for this kind of job, but you can place a
shape over the line, make the right width, fill it in yr background colour
(make sure it is opaque), and choose "no line". Your shape now appears to
have a "hole" in one of the border lines.
