Dashboard Reporting - plot area changes on print preview

Hi,

I recently tried to create a 'dashboard' style report by using the
camera tool to take pictures of my graphs on different worksheets, and
presenting them together on the first worksheet. You can see samples
of this type of report at www.exceluser.com

Everything looks good until I try to print preview, at which point
graphic elements on the chart, and the plot area, totally resize. This
makes the chart unreadable. Both the camera picture of the chart (on
sheet 1) and the original chart (on sheet 3) are affected.

Does anybody know why this happens, or how to prevent it happening?

Thanks!

ANT:

I use the camera tool to copy sections of my data tables, I don't use it to
copy charts.

For charts, I create them in cells, very similar to the way Charlie Kyd
recommends.

I have examples of assigning charts to cells in this link:
http://processtrends.com/pg_charts_chart_in_cell.htm

My approach is to create a dashboard sheet. I then set up panels by
adjusting row and columns sizes, adding spacer rows and columns, then adding
charts and camera objects. I have a working prototype if you'd like to get a
test copy e-mail me:

I've had the exact same problem, even when using adobe writter as a printer.
I found a black and white printer in the office that worked but that does not
help me. Did you find an answer to your question?
