Auto Y-Axis Scale
Hi there, I have a worksheet full of data, which is filtered to provide a meaningful list. The data also populates a line graph on another worksheet. When the data is filtered, I would like the axis of the line graph to scale itself automatically to fit the data. (I have around 1200 rows of data - which may be filtered down to around 20). Each day the list of data will grow - so the scale of the axis will need to change in line with this. Could anyone offer any suggestions or pointers to guide me with this problem? Thank you all! Rob :) -- systemx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ systemx's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=29254 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=525120 |
Auto Y-Axis Scale
Sorry, Not sure if I was really clear on what I want to do, so thought I should add to my post. I would like to set the 'Y' axis data range as an entire column (eg A:A) - and for excel to recognise that if a cell is blank, it should not be part of the chart. That way, no matter what the filter, the axis will always be set to the data being viewed. Thanks again Rob -- systemx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ systemx's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=29254 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=525120 |
