Default How to display a series in chart table and not in the chart?

Microsoft Powerpoint 2002 - In a column and line chart on 2 axes with table
at the bottom how to hide some of the series in the table and at the same
time not hiding the series in the chart?

Default How to display a series in chart table and not in the chart?

Double click the series in the chart, and on the Patterns tab, select
options that make it invisible, like no marker, no lines, no area fill.
