comparing averages on chart

I've recently just learnt how to use pivot tables and charts and
I've created a table and chart which deals with different agents from
different groups and how they performed in monthly tests. What i need
to know is how do i place the comparison of averages onto the
chart.

comparing averages on chart

Your Data Range will have to be selected from the row(s) or column(s) where
the Average is located
If you do not calculate the average in your data, then you should provide
either row(s) or column(s) for this.
(Use the AVERAGE function)
then use those numbers in your chart
