Hyperlinkage of one graph with another graph or Drill down graph

There is need of hyperlink of two graphs. eg.
Graph 1:-Monthwise Equipment Downtime graph- Bar graph having Months on
X-axis and Downtime(Hrs) on Y-Axis.
we want to know the downtime of 10 equipment (EQ1, EQ2, EQ3, ----E12)
monthwise (say for 12 months). This graph can be made easily.
Graph 2:- Equipment failure by reason pie graph
Now we want to show the pie graph for the reason of downtimes for each
equipment (like say for EQ1:- 40%- Material failure, 30% Process failure,
30% Design failure)
Now we want to hyperlink graph 2 with graph 1 so that clicking on bar of
equipment will display the failure by reason. If it is not clicked, it should
not reflect failureby reason graph.

Hyperlinkage of one graph with another graph or Drill down graph

If you are interested in something that does not require waiting for MS
to develop a solution...

If the result can be a PivotChart (based on an associated PivotTable),
you could use
PivotChart Drilldown
http://www.tushar-
mehta.com/excel/software/pivotchart_drilldown/index.html

Alternatively, if you don't mind the 'breakdown reason' chart showing
all the time, you could use a drop-down selector as in example 6 in
Dynamic Charts
http://www.tushar-mehta.com/excel/ne...rts/index.html

Finally, depending on your comfort level with VBA, you could roll your
own solution. Trap the MouseUp event for the chart, use the
GetChartElement method to figure out which item was clicked and change
the source of the 'breakdown details' chart appropriately.
