flexible data range 3d-chart
I am trying to make a flexible 3d bar chart in excel. I made a data
label that will hold all necessary data for the chart and used this data-label as data range for the chart. Unfortunately excel just uses the range that the label represent at that time. In other words, when the data label has changed excel still uses its old value. Is there a way to overcome this problem? Thanks in advance, Douwe |

I assume you mean named formula rather than data-label, i.e., you
created the name with Insert | Name Define... If so, yes, when the name is specified in the chart wizard, XL converts it into its current range and uses that name. However, you can specify it in a way that XL uses the named range all the time.
