Trend lines on data subsets
Hello,
How do I create trend lines on subsets of data in an Excel (Home and Business 2010) graph? I have data over dates ranging from 1976 through 2010, and I want separate trend lines on the data from 1976-1990, from 1990-2005, and from 2005-2010, all without breaking up the single flow of data from '76-'10. Also: Merry Christmas Thanks Eric Hines |
Adding trend lines to Excel charts can highlight significant changes in that involve times series plots with multiple trend lines on the same data.

Which is why "I want separate trend lines on the data from 1976-1990, from 1990-2005, and from 2005-2010, all without breaking up the single flow of data from '76-'10." Any ideas on how to do that? Thanks Eric Hines |
