Assuming you set up four points like this:
9 2 2 2 5 12 7 3 The number 9 is in cell A1 and 2 is in cell B2. The remaining numbers fall below. Click on cell A1. Then, click on the Chart Wizard in the standard toolbar. Choose the XY (Scatter) chart option.
