How do I name a chart as an identifiable object?

What's an identifiable object?

And, what kind of a chart? One in its own chartsheet or one embedded
in a sheet?

Hi confused,

Hold the shift key down and click on the chart. That way you select the
chart object instead of the chart area. You can then rename the chart like
any other object.
