charting biweekly headcount - chart is plotting everyday
hello - I am trying to plot our biweekly headcount numbers however on the x
asis the columns for each biweekly date are so thin, as I looked closer at the x axis it appears to be using the "day" scale so each point is every day which I don't know how to unspecify. I just want to chart the biweekly numbers. For example in my columns are Week Headcount 1/8/05 50 1/15/05 52 where on the x axis it is listing 1/8, 1/9, 1/10 etc. how do I correct this so it is just reading my data and not interpretting anything else? |
Select the chart. Select Chart | Chart Options... | Axes tab. In the
'Primary axis' section, set the 'Category (X) axis' to 'Category'. -- Regards, Tushar Mehta www.tushar-mehta.com Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA add-ins, tutorials Custom MS Office productivity solutions In article , says... hello - I am trying to plot our biweekly headcount numbers however on the x asis the columns for each biweekly date are so thin, as I looked closer at the x axis it appears to be using the "day" scale so each point is every day which I don't know how to unspecify.
