Conditional formatting in a chart
Does anyone know is it possible to do conditional formatting for a data
series in a Excel chart? If yes, how to do it? I have used this fuction in the worksheets but have not been able to do it for a chart. |
Not really in the chart, but you can set up extra data series which will
plot in the format you want and make the series use only the data you want. You can also use a macro tro change display information, but this can be awkward depending on what you want the "conditional" to do "Baro" wrote: Does anyone know is it possible to do conditional formatting for a data series in a Excel chart? This web page shows how to get the same effect with multiple series:

Hi Baro,
A bit late maybe, but I have found a way to copy worksheet conditional formatting to a chart. You can find a sample here http://edferrero.m6.net/charting.aspx Look for Conditional Chart Formatting Ed Ferrero http://edferrero.m6.net Does anyone know is it possible to do conditional formatting for a data series in a Excel chart?
