tracking sales to targets in a chart
I would like to create a chart that shows our sales to target. Basically I
want to have it so that the top of the bar is the target and each day as we make sales it fills up. Any ideas on how to do this? |
Brad,
You might check out these charts at Andy's site: http://www.andypope.info/charts/thermometer.htm ---- Regards, John Mansfield http://www.pdbook.com "Brad" wrote: I would like to create a chart that shows our sales to target. How about having an Actual Sales column and a Target-Actual Sales column, if
you plots these two figures as stacked bar series then the whole column will be the target height and the lower of the two series can represent the actual sales. As the Actual Sales figure increases the Target-Actual will get smaller and the bar will appear to fill up. Andrea Jones www.allaboutoffice.co.uk "Brad" wrote in message ...
