Table and Chart
I have three variables: Screen (month and year), Eligible (yes/no), and
Enrolled (yes/no). Screen starts on March 2005 and will continue for several years to come. I want to create a column chart that shows for each month and year the number of people who were eligible and enrolled. Below is a sample of the data. I think I want something like this: IF A:A = Jan-05, then count B:B and C:C of the same row where A:A is the column for Screen B:B is the column for Eligible C:C is the column for Enrolled Once I have the table I should be able to do the graph. I'm sure though I'm making a few wrong assumptions. Can someone help? By the way, I'm using Excel 2003. Thank you! Screen Eligible Enrolled Jan-05 1 1 Nov-07 1 1 Jan-10 1 0 Jan-05 1 0 Jan-10 1 1 Jan-10 1 1 Jan-10 0 0 Dec-08 0 0 Dec-08 0 0 Jan-10 1 0 Jan-10 1 1 Jan-10 1 1 -- Catherine |
Table and Chart
I was able to figure out the pivot table but now I find I can only do a
stacked column graph which is not what I want. I want for every month to have Eligible and Enrolled 100% overlap. How do I do that with a chart created from a pivot table? Thx. -- Catherine "Catherine" wrote: I have three variables: Screen (month and year), Eligible (yes/no), and Enrolled (yes/no).
