alignment of x axis

hi all,
this is my first post here so please be gentle with me!

i have a stacked column chart, and have text labels on the x axis.
these labels are aligned at 90degrees (you have to turn your head
sideways to read them). these labels are of varying length, and i would
like to align or justify these to the left (or bottom). any ideas?

bj

double click on the axis select the alignment tab and play with the angles
or other orientations to give you what looks better to you

Hi,

Unfortunately the labels are aligned to the axis.
To get the labels to align away from the axis would require either
adding spaces to the labels, which can still be a bit hit and miss
especially if the text decides to wrap.
Another way would be to use textboxes.

Cheers
Andy
