Bar Graph with unique column labels
I have a bar graph that has three columns; Cost Revenue, & Profit. I would
like to have the cost column have a label show on top of each bar that shows the percent of cost. I have the needed values in a cloumn on the spread sheet. These three columns represent each day of a cartian project. |
Chance,
One way - this example shows how you can add two labels per one set of columns. Since your graph has three sets of columns, you will need to adapt the technique to add three columns instead of one. http://www.pdbook.com/index.php/exce...ls_per_column/ If you are only displaying only label per column, another option is to add data labels that are independent of the data series. These tools will help: (1) You can use Rob Bovey's XY Chart Labeler add-in located at: http://www.appspro.com/Utilities/ChartLabeler.htm (2) You can use John Walkenbach's Chart Tools add-in located at: http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/files/charttools.htm You can view a more complete explanation he http://www.pdbook.com/index.php/exce...t_data_labels/ ---- Regards, John Mansfield http://www.pdbook.com "Chance224" wrote: I have a bar graph that has three columns; Cost Revenue, & Profit.
