Combination bar/stacked charts

Hi,

I have department wise and month-year wise sales data. I would like to
generate a graph that allows me to show in stacked form for each month the
data per department. And the same graph allows me to show in bar form data
per year.

Thus visual look of the chart required is as follows

dept1 jan 2007 | dept1 jan 2008 |....... dec 2007
dept 2 jan 2007| dept2 jan 2008 |........dec 2007
: | : |.................
: | : |...................
| |...................
january month 2007-2008-2009 | december month 2007-2009

In order to generate such a graph, how must I group my data, and how can I
generate the graph?

Many thanks in anticipation of your excellent suggestions.
