No space between columns
 

Is there some way I can set up a column chart without showing the space
between the columns i.e. the columns are all right next to each other.

No space between columns
 

Format the series, and on the Options tab (Excel 2003 and earlier) or on the
first tab (Excel 2007) set the Gap Width to zero.
