a line on the bar chart
 

I have a bar chart and would like to have a line across the bar to see
our goal.

I would like to know how can I add a line on the bar chart.

Create an additional series, with equal values (your goal) that cross all
x-values in your chart. (should be added as another column series by
default). Select this series on the chart, then right-click, chart type, and
select line.
