Gavin,
Yes, Excel offers several options. Depending on your data, you could first look at Excel's charting trendline options. After you create a chart, click on it once. Then go to the standard toolbar and select Chart - Add Trendline. Next, this site shows how to calculate a best fit line via linear regression calculations: http://www.pdbook.com/index.php/exce...ar_trendlines/ http://www.pdbook.com/index.php/exce..._new_x_values/ Finally, take a look at Excel's INDEX, LINEST, and CORREL functions. Also, if you have the Analysis ToolPak installed, Excel will calculate all of the regression coefficients for you. ---- Regards, John Mansfield http://www.pdbook.com "Gavin" wrote: I would like to put a Science graph on the computer but I need to use a line of best fit is is possible to do this with any Microsoft producat in particular exel? |
