different color on scatter plot separated by a trendline
I have a scatter plot with a linear trendline. What I would like to
be able to chart is a different background color that's separated by the trendline. So a different background color for anything above the trendline and a different color below the trendline. Thanks, |

Hi,
1. Get the trendline equation by double-clicking the trend line and choosing Format, Selected Trendline, Options and checking display equation on chart. 2. Create a new series in your data area based on this equation. 3. Plot this series on your chart. 4. Select the series and choose Chart, Chart Type, Area, Stacked Area (2nd one) OK. 5. Set the color of the Plot area as you wish. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Laoballer" wrote: I have a scatter plot with a linear trendline.
