Problem charting two points of data
What am I missing? I want to chart the data below using a pie chart with a legend that tells me what each of the pieces of the pie represents. I tried selecting cells A1 and A2 and I have tried selecting cells A1:B2. All I end up with is a legend

Problem charting two points of data
Patrick C. Simonds,
This is what I did to get a pie chart on the worksheet with the values: In Cell A1 "Total Number of Employees to Trained" In Cell A2 "51" In Cell B1 "Total Number of Employees toTrain" In Cell B2 "195" I select cells A1:B2 (as you did). I select the chart wizard. Select Pie. The default is the upper left pie chart sub-type. Select "Next" to preview the chart. Select "Data Labels" tab. Select the "Value" in "Label Contains" area. Select "Next" and select as "As object in:" Then "Finish" hth Dennis "Patrick C. Simonds" wrote: What am I missing?
