Changing Periodicity in a Chart
Hi,
I have actual monthly data points going back about 10 years and I have them charted with a monthly periodicity. The x-axis is labeled every 3 months. I have quarterly forecasts I want to chart continuing from the monthly data. So I want the monthly data charted until March 2005 and then I want it to start charting my quarterly forecasts beginning in the 2Q 2005 and going through 4Q 2006. I also want all of the data points between 2Q 2005 and 4Q 2006 labeled on the x-axis. When I try to chart this it does not look very good. If you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! |
What does "it does not look very good" mean?
How much have you got done? Where are you stuck? Also, what are the x-values that you are plotting? Are they dates as XL understands them (12/1/2004) or text such as 2005 March? -- Regards, Tushar Mehta www.tushar-mehta.com Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA add-ins, tutorials Custom MS Office productivity solutions In article , says...
