Formatting Data Tables in Charts

Can you highlight/fill individual cells, rows, or columns of a data table
within a chart?

Hi,

No. Formatting of the chart data table is very limited.
If possible use worksheet cells to display a data table.

Formatting Data Tables in Charts

Hi,

No. Personally, data table are a real problem, for example if you have a
lot of data, they're hopeless.

You best solution is to place the data in a range below the table and
include the range and the range under the chart as the print range. Since
you can do just about anything to the data range in the spreadsheet this is a
perfect solution.

There is a second, less useful approach - whereever the data is you can
format it any way you like and then use the Camera tool to snap a picture of
the range (with all its formatting) and paste it on the chart. Resize the
plot area and put the picture below it. This would be an alternative for
example if your chart was on a chart page. The camera picture is linked to
the data and is therefore dynamic.

You can find the Camera tool by choose View, Toolbars, Customize, Commands
tab, Tools category, Camera
