Problem with Series Values - Please Help

HI - I hope this question isnt too stupid but it ha been a show stopper for
me. I am trying to enter a series of cell references into the Series Values
field in the Edit Series window but when I click OK the window just ignores
the keyclick. This must mean that it is unhappy with something but I cant
figure out what that is for the life of me.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Problem with Series Values - Please Help

Hi,

There is a limit to the length of the string created when selecting cells.
If the cells are non-contiguous this limit can be reach with only a few
cells being selected.

Cheers
Andy

The thing that reallly puzzles me is that I had previously created these
charts with the exact same data series and they worked just fine. But when I
went to edit them and replace the data series with a new view but with the
same number of elements (references) the system wouldnt take it?

Did anything else change? Sheet or workbook name. even cell location could
alter the length of the series formula.

Thanks Andy

And for others who may have the same problem... I think that the final
resolution was that I did change the name of the Sheet to better distinguish
it from others and the new name was longer. As a test I copied the data to a
new sheet which I called "zzz" and then I tried to reenter the series data.
This time it worked without a hitch so Andy nailed it.

Thanks much again Andy and keep up the great work.
