cycle time

HI,

I need help in capturing a cycle time from the time the form was intiated
and submitted to the time it was fully approved. But in between those
process are other folks approval that I need to track too the cycle time.
example:
intiated and routed to ab on 8-1-08
aprroved by AB and routed to CD on 8-3-08
approved by CD on 8-10-08

cycle time

Wouldn't the cycle time be the difference between the times things are routed
from one person to the next? Are you gathering the date and time that each
action occurs? You can get the delta with a calculation like =A2-A1. If
you want the delta displayed in hours, you'll need to multiply that by 24 and
change the format of the cell as needed.
