Why can't I add a label for each of my pie slices
When I go to the select data dialog there are two labels for my pie chart. 1
and 2. I click on edit above the two items and I can enter one value and that is all. The other just becomes blank and there is no way to put a name/value on the chart for it after this faulty editing dialog. Does anyone know how Excel 2007 should work and why it's not intuitive any more? How can I have a pie chart with a label for only one slice? I might have to go to open office to find a product worth using. |

Instead of trying to enter values in the dialog, enter them in the sheet,
and reference this range in the dialog. Interesting that you'd think OO is a better alternative than updating to Office 2003. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Dwolfe" wrote in message ...
