I'm using Excel 2003, and am having difficulty arranging the order of my
series' names in my stacked-bar chart's legend. My problem is that the eleventh (and final) series is showing up in spot number ten on that legend, instead of the more logical spot number eleven. I've tried the standard "double-click the series and use the Move Up and Move Down buttons", but the series giving me the problem isn't showing up on that list. (I have the feeling that only the first ten series show up in the list). I've also tried selecting the series (to get the formula, "=SERIES(Transition!$A$69,,flexA.xls!XReturnTime,1 1)", so as to change the last number), but the number is already at eleven. Changing it to anything else moves the series' bar position amongst the other series's (not a desired result), but its spot on the legend remains in tenth place regardless of that last number. And I've tried deleting and regenerating the legend, and resizing the legend, too, but those things didn't work, either. Finally, out of desperation, I've completely recreated my spreadsheet from scratch and re-making the chart. Didn't work. I've run out of ideas! Does anybody know of any work-arounds for this issue? Any help is appreciated€¦ |

Are all series of the same chart type? In a combination chart, series are
listed by type. Are the series all on the primary axis? In a multiple axis chart (primary & secondary), series are listed by axis group. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "ut_libet" wrote in message ... Aha! It was on a secondary axis€¦I hadn't noticed because that series' values
are usually equal to zero. Thank-you so much!! "Jon Peltier" wrote: Are all series of the same chart type? In a combination chart, series are listed by type. Are the series all on the primary axis?
