Pivot Chart Formatting
 

Has anyone been successful in setting a custom axis format on a pivot chart?
I don¹t seem to be able to get this to work.

Do you mean number formats, or customised arbitrary axes? Special custom
axes tend to be constructed using scatter series, which I think pivot
charts don't do. You just have to use an ordinary (non-pivot) chart to
get what you want. Pivot charts are quick and easy off-the-shelf
solutions, not for customising.

Hi again,

In 2003 and earlier, some custom formats are not retained on refresh, maybe
that is the problem?

Yes I have so much trouble with this "some custom formats are not retained on
refresh". Is it fixed in 2007 version?
