Graphs from Excel into Adobe Illustrator
When I copy a a 3-d pie chart from Excel into Illustrator it has jagged
edges. How can I fix this? I used to copy as picture in the previous version of Excel and this worked fine, I am now using the latest version of Excel. |
Graphs from Excel into Adobe Illustrator
Excel 2007 has really disappointed me with its graphics rendering. I used to
be able to copy a chart as a picture and paste it into PowerPoint, then ungroup the shapes and manipulate them as I pleased. In 2007, some items can no longer be ungrouped beyond a certain point (chart gridlines for example are now inseparable, taking the form of a transparent rectangle with lines), and the antialiasing is built into the picture elements, and don't work if the constituent shapes are resized. The fact that you're using a 3D pie chart only makes it worse. It's an ugly chart type, completely ineffective at the accurate display of information. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "SK" wrote in message ...
