O Chacon

Using dates with linegraphs

I need to have a linegraph where the X axis has the dates of, say, Oct 1,
Oct2, Oct 3 AND Oct 7, Oct 8, Oct 9. My issue is that whenever I try to set
the graph up, Excel adds the dates of Oct 4-6 which I do not want. How can I
fix this?

I have Win XP (SP2) and Office 2003.

Thanks.

Jon Peltier

Using dates with linegraphs

Go to Chart menu Chart Options Axis tab. Change the option under
Category (X) Axis to Category. If Excel recognizes dates in the X values, it
uses a date-scale axis by default (Automatic).
