I am trying to plot quarterly and monthly data using two lines. My quarterly
line is broken into points instead of a continuous line, is there a way I can get it to connect to the quarter points? |

If the cells in between are blank, go to Tools menu Options Chart tab,
and choose the Interpolate option for dealing with blank cells. If the cells contain anything else, including a formula that returns "" (which is NOT blank), change "" to NA(), which puts an #N/A error in the cell, which ain't pretty in the worksheet but which results in an interpolated line in the chart. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Steve" wrote in message ... How can you interpolate values on Excel for the Mac (Excel 2004). There is no
"Options" option under Tools. And The "Chart Options" dialog box, doesn't give the option to interpolate.
