Can't figure out Simple Percent Label

I would like the column chart to show the percent as the value label.

For example

East 2
West 4
North 10
South 4

In the chart, I want the y-scale to be 0 to 10 (or 12), but the values on
the data labels to be:
East 10%
West 20%
North 50%
South 20%

I have tried putting the % in a separate column but of course that shows up
as a different series.

Seems like it should be so simple, but I can't get it to do it. What am I
missing, please.

tia for any suggestions

Klam,
This is a good one:
Column A cells 1 thru 4
East, West, North, South
Column B cells 1 thru 4
2, 4, 10, 4
Column C cells 1 thru 4
"=A1/20", "=A2/20", "=A3/20", "=A4/20"
Format these cells as percent, 0 decimal places.
Select A1 thru C4.
When it is done.
Select the chart.
Select Chart Options.
Data Labels, select "Values".
HTH
:-)
On the Data Range Tab:
Data Range:"=Sheet1!$A$1:$A$4,Sheet1!$C$1:$C$4"

Select chart wizard.
