I tried to drag to resize the chart which does not work.

I would like to know that does excel chart supports resize?

If yes, how can I do it?

Sorry about that last post...

Yes Excel lets you resize charts. What version of Excel are you using 2007
or earlier? Where is your chart located - a chart page or on a worksheet?
Is this a regular chart or a pivot chart? Are you trying to resize the plot
area or the entire chart?

On a worksheet, you can resize the chart by dragging the sizing handles on
the border.

Based on your other post, I assume you're talking about a pivot chart. In
Excel 2000 through 2003, there was little flexibility in the formatting of
pivot charts. Various elements of a pivot chart cannot be moved or resized.

Hi,

It is just as Jon says. You would not be able to size the plot area but you
can resize the chart.

I use Access 2003 and have a pivotchart on chart sheet.
I am able to resize the chart on the regular sheets, but not the pivotchart
on chart sheets.

I just wanted to enlarge the chart by draging the border of plot area, but
it does not work. Is it the limitation of pivotchart?

That is one of the limits of a pivot chart. You can get around it by using a
regular chart, but that will not pivot properly with the pivot table, unless
the pivot table's dimensions are unchanged:
