Embedding a pie chart from excel

I just created a chart in Excel and embeded it into Corel 13, which worked
great. The only question I have is that when the chart comes into Corel it
has all the cells behind it.

I selected the cells and filled them with white which worked fine. Now the
only problem is that it takes about 3 columns of cells to the right of the
chart so that when I click on the image in Corel it is bigger than the actual
chart.

Is there a way to just bring in the chart without the extra columns?

Any help appreciated

Assuming the chart you want to copy is an embedded chart, click once on the
chart. Hold down the shift key and go to Edit - Copy Picture - Appearance:
As Shown on Screen. Then paste the chart into Corel.
