When I copy a chart/ graph from excel 2007 and paste it into a word doc it
changes the format (i.e., makes it too big or cuts off some of the graph or legend). In Office 2000 I was able to double click on the chart once in word and modify it but I can't do that now. Any suggestions for copying charts without them being modified? -- Thanks, Medea |

I would suggest copying the chart as a picture and then pasting that picture
into your Word document. You won't be able to make changes in the Word document, but the formatting of the chart remains in tact. Jon Peltier has a very detailed writeup on this subject on his site. Another important step is to make the chart the size you need in Excel,
before you copy it. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "John Mansfield" wrote in message ... You have to know the secret hiding place. It's on the Paste button, in the
vicinity of Paste Special. If you can find Paste as Picture, you'll see Copy as Picture. (I don't have 2007 on this machine, so I can't tell you more precisely.) - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Medea" wrote in message ...
