Stacked bar charts

I am trying to create charts with multiple groups of stacked bars. For
instance, for one value on the y-axis (doing horizontal stacked bars), having
more than one stacked bar per that one y-value. Right now I can only get
Excel to do one stacked bar per y-axis value.
I am trying to get one set of the stacked bars to show a total of a few
different categories and the second bar to show a total for the company.

Stacked bar charts

Use this approach, but applied to a bar chart rather than a column chart:

Note that the vertical axis in a bar chart is the X axis.
