Is there any way on this newsgroup to get an email notification when there
is a response to something I've posted?

Thanks,

Huck

I you are using Outlook Express:
click in the column with pair-of-specs as the 'header'
this makes the message red; unread messages are brighter and the
newsgroup name is red when there is an unread watched message.

Thanks Bernard,

I can't seem to make this work the way you describe. If I click on the
pair-of-specs it changes the order of the messages, but I don't see other
changes. Do I have to mark a particular message as "watched"? If so, how
do I do that?

I see red pushpins, but not red news group names. But I see red pushpins on
all unread messages. There are many I haven't read as I'm only watching one
or two.

Can you tell me what to do?

Thanks,

Huck

Do not click the 'specs' but click in the 'specs' column next to the message
you want to track.

Alternatively: to see all your messages and replies thereto: hit CTRL+H. You
must remember to use CTRL+H again to view all messages.
