Comparison graph in excell
 

I am trying to create a Line - Column graph in excel. One that plots a line
series and column series on the same axis.

I am getting 2 columns and 2 line series.

However i would like to get 3 columns and 1 line series.

Can someone tell me how i can to do this?

Select the line series you want to change, go to Chart menu Chart Type,
and change it to a line. If you need to change from primary to secondary
axes, double click the series and on the Axis tab make your selection.

Next time, ignore the built-in custom chart types, make a line chart, and
change the one series to a column.
