Just select the chart, copy it, switch to Word, and use edit paste
special, and choose the Paste option, as Microsoft Excel Chart Object. Note: this doesn't just copy the chart, but also the entire workbook. To prevent bloating of your Word doc, and to prevent sensitive information from being distributed, copy the chart and paste it into its own sheet in an otherwise empty workbook. It still links to the data in the original workbook, but doesn't lug all that baggage around with it. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "OyVey-CoCo" wrote in message ... i want to copy an excel chart to word, but i would like to still be able to edit it in word.
