xl2007 3D-Rotation - Grabbing and Turning
 

Hi,

I used to be able to "grab" a 3d surface graph in xl 2003 and rotate it with
no problem, the bosses loved it.

I can't seem to do this in xl2007 has the "Grab" feature been discontinued?
I sincerely hope not as it was very useful...

Can someone tell me if it still works, and if so how do I do it? I have
tried and tried but not getting anywhere...

Doesn't work any longer in 2007. It was too complex to implement with the
new Office Art shapes.

xl2007 3D-Rotation - Grabbing and Turning
 

Hi,

I can not find anywhere that allows you to use the mouse to drag the
rotation.
If you right click the chart area there is an option 3d-Rotation. This gives
you access to the format dialog with controls to rotated the chart.

Or on the Layout contextual tab there is a 3-d rotation button within the
Background group.

My bosses will more than likely regress to 2003 now and stay there...talk
about going forward and taking a step back...
