Default HELP!

I am just learning to use Excel charts and need some assistance --

I want to show goals versus acutal on a horizontal bar chart and i cannot
figure out how to format the data and label the axis.
Can you help me??

If you could be a bit more specific it'd be easier to answer. Do you mean
you want goals and actuals as two different columns (ie side by side)? In a
blank spreadsheet just put in your data in three columns (like below)

X axis labels Goals Actual
a 2 1
b 3 2
etc
then use the chart wizard to set up the graph. Hope this helps,
