How do I set a trendline for only say the first 25% of the data s.
Hi, I have plotted a logarithmic distribution but only want the trendline to
take into account certain points and not the whole data series. However I don't know how to select only the points I want to use. Any help anyone could give me with this would be great. |

Use a second series on the chart that only contains the data of interest.

Add a second series to the chart using your "certain" points. Add the trend line to the new series. Format the new series so it can't be seen. -- Jim Cone San Francisco, USA http://www.realezsites.com/bus/primitivesoftware "qwerty" wrote in message Hi, I have plotted a logarithmic distribution but only want the trendline to take into account certain points and not the whole data series.
